Non-Trusted System - Minimum Password Length

Hi

I have an 11.11 non-trusted system, having read other forums i've checked and there is a security file in /etc/default/

The security team are telling me that passwords need to be a minimum of 8 characters.

I've checked the security file and mimimum is set to 8, but i know some users passwords are only 5 characters only.

MIN_PASSWORD_LENGTH=8 PASSWORD_HISTORY_DEPTH=4
SU_KEEP_ENV_VARS=SHLIB_PATH,LD_LIBRARY_PATH,LIBPATH

Can anyone advise how i ensure user passwords are minimum of 8 characters?

Hi, Thanks for the response. I've reviewed that thread and i've checked the perms on the security file. Seems it didnt work on non-trusted for that user too.
