Oracle financials with SG
Hello,
Did any one install Oracle ebusiness applications using service guard on hpux v3?
I want to install application tier and data tier both in active passive cluster . Can SG package move the whole application to another noce in cluster? I can't find much information about this. The procedures given on Oracle site are for total high availibility which invilves RAC installation and data guard both of which i dont need.

Re: Oracle financials with SG
Shalom,
Almost all oracle products will run in a serviceguard environment except for RAC. Newer versions of RAC have their own clustering system.
All serviceguard really does for you is activate a volume group and run a startup script for you. Which Serviceguard can do easily.

Re: Oracle financials with SG
I need to implement Oracle ebusiness financials R12 using service guard as i mentioned above. So I need someone to respond who has already done such installation.
