Physical Move Of Memory

I have two Nclass systems. I want to move memory from a '9000/800/N4000-55 ' to a '9000/800/N4000-36'. I know I may need an extra carrier installed to house the memory, but are there any other issues I may need to be aware of? I can't think of any. Looks like bread and butter to me.

Re: Physical Move Of Memory

Robert,

Yes, it should be a piece of cake. You do need to pay attention to the order in which the SIMMs are loaded (largest to smallest), observe static precautions, make sure they're mounted properly, etc, but other than that, nothing to it.

Re: Physical Move Of Memory

Sounds like a slam dunk.

But check the docs.
