Problem running Java 1.1.8 classes under HP-UX 11
Hi,
I'm having a really strange problem running Java classes with the JVM 1.1.8 on HP-UX 11. To put you in context, we have Autosys, a scheduler application, which starts a specific class early in the morning, and stops it in the evening. Now, the problem is, *sometimes*, Autosys starts the application normally and then 30 minutes later, the application crashes with a NoClassDefFoundError on the specific class. Now, I know for sure that my $Classpath is ok because I've done many modifications to the classes using the same environment, and besides, the application would always crash if it really were the $Classpath. Apparently, HP and Sun are not aware of this bug as I haven't found anything concerning this kind of error on both websites.
If anyone has experienced this kind of environment before, or is aware of classdefs problems using java 1.1, or if anyone has any ideas, feel free to help me out! I am really clueless on that one :(
Thx,
JL
