We are upgrading an npar in each of our superdomes, In the process we will be replacing single lan and fibre cards with combo cards. My question is this, based on hardware addresses my lan4 on each node will change to either lan1 or lan 2. As such I need to recompile the cluster (lan4 is my heartbeat). Can I leave one node running while I redo the other. It will cause a lan mismatch, but I don't know if it will result in a failure or an ugly warning

Solution
You will have to bring the nodes down in order to make the network changes....
