rpcbind

I am getting rpcbind errors during bootup on HPUX 11.00 and it hangs on NFS startup. The error is Could not create rmtcall fd for ticlts.

Does rpcinfo give any clues?

Ken,
If the error reads;

rpcbind: init_transport: Could not create rmtcall fd for ticlts

Try this kernel tune;

1. Set the 'maxfiles_lim' parameter > or equal to 'maxfiles'.

2. Rebuild the kernel.
