Secure Path - FC60 and HPUX 11.00

Hi,

I have two node MC/Service Guard cluster system with central FC60 Storage. I would like to install secure path. I do appreciate if you can respond on following questions -

1. Which version of Secure path will be supported on FC60?
2. Any practical precaution to be taken prior to install/configure?

To the best of my knowledge, HP does not and has no plans to support SecurePath on the FC60. It is very unlikely that dynamic multi-pathing would do much to help your performance, and PVlinks can provide failover and static dual paths. If you place half your LUNs (by estimated activity) in one VG, with path A listed first, path B listed second, and the other half of your LUNs in a VG with path B listed first, path A listed second. See the man page for vgcreate. You can also add the second path after the fact, if you have already created the volume group.
