Hello..
Would like to get the latest version of Sendmail for 11.11. Our current version =
Version 8.9.3 (PHNE_26305)

What is the latest version that I can obtain for 11.11 and where/how would I get it ?

The latest version is 8.11.1 on HPUX , however you can find some reading on 8.12.1 at :

http://www.sendmail.org/


I dont know whether newer HPUX will have this in built

sendmail.org provides a tar version.

software.hp.com provides HP-UX depots.

Using the hp depot gives the advantage of having the isntallation in the SD/UX software distributor database.

Once you go to a tar version, HP patches will not work for you any more. Most of us admins try to stay with the HP depots because HP does intensive quality control and security testing prior to distribution.

Just a side note. There is a newer version of the HP Sendmail 8.11.1 binary, which requires getting it from HP Security and manually replacing the binary. This is after you have installed the latest 8.11.1 depot which contains the latest patch.
