Setting up Netbackup Client
Hi Guys, Can someone give me some help please.
We have a HP-UX (11.23) Database server, I wanted to find what is needed to be set up on this server to be a Netbackup Client, i.e It is installed, sp how to check netback is running correctly? how to test the connection from this server to the Netbackup Media server (which is a Window's server)? Which daemons should be running on the client server ?
Thanks.

Re: Setting up Netbackup Client
hi,
you could ask in this forum related to the Veritas Netbackup,
http://mailman.eng.auburn.edu/pipermail/veritas-bu/
check this how to :
http://skullboxx.net/kb/node/345
we installed it simple from CDROM
/CDROM/install.sh
if its only a client ( not a media server ),
the start of the netbackup will be done be the inetd.
