Setting up VPar on 11iV2 on IA,rx3600

Hi,

We need to setup VPar machine.
And according to doc here:

following Itanium servers are supported:
HP Integrity (Intel® Itanium® 2)

* rx7620 and rx7640
* rx8620 and rx8640
* Integrity Superdome

But we have "rx3600" running HP-UX 11iv2 so can't we setup VPARs on this machine ?

Yep that's correct - vPars is supported only in cell-based systems.

You can of course run HP Integrity Virtual Machines on the rx3600 if that helps:

You can't do vpars on a rx3600 - only Virtual Machines.
