						Hi,
Could some one point me some documents or tips on stripping best practices?
I've inherited an HPUX box with vxfs partitions.
Each VG is composed of two disks (on an external DS) and all logical volumes were created stripping on those 2 disks with an 8kbytes stripe size.
These partitions are being used for database datafile storage and IMHO I believe that the stripe size is too small but I really can't say it for sure.

As well as matching FS block size to stripe size, you also want to coorelate those with the DB extent size. If I remember correctly, you want to match the DB extent size to the stripe size.
