swlist error

When I excute swlist command, the following messages occurred.

dicss8:/>swlist |more
# Initializing...
# Contacting target "dicss8"...
WARNING: Incomplete definition for the product "MeasureWare", beginning at line 34514. The following attributes are not defined: filesets the filesets contained in the product

What is the problem?

Hi there.
Try the command :
swlist -l product | grep .....
If possible, take the swuninstall under CDE.
Then you have listed up all your software.

Software distributors IPD is corrupt. To fix it install something like Ignite, or if already installed swremove it then swinstall it, this will rebuild your IPD and fix the corruption.

Hi,

Carol is right, IPD is corrupt.
It will be automatically fixed after a swinstall. Ignite seem the right candidate because it doesn't need a reboot.
If it's already installed, do a swremove first.
