hi again,
op sys= ux 11.11v1
Is it possible to set up a special user that has a password that does not expire, on a trusted system?
Is the option u_life in the relevant tcb auth file the place to go?
would :u_life@: be the way to go, or is there some other value that is used.?
Thanks for info,
Maria

Solution
Yes you can set a user so that a password will not expire. The easiest way is to go through SAM, select the user, go to the actions menu and modify the security options for the user.
You can also use the modprpw command to modify options for a user. Do a 'man modprpw' for more information.

Re: trusted systems - special user options
It's possible by setting security options for that user, use the command "modprpw" command to do so.
