Unable to mount nfs a filesystem on a san
I'm trying to mount an NFS share on a remote host, but the mount command just hangs, and in /var/log/messages it says that the host is not responding. showmount -e comes back as expected. If I try to mount a non-SAN filesystem remotely it succesfully mounts the share on the remote host. It only fails when the NFS share resides on the SAN. Any suggestions?

Re: Unable to mount nfs a filesystem on a san
Hello Matthew,
I am sure that NFS does not seem to bother if the FS resides on the SAN or not.. so there is something else which is missing or wrongly configured, btw what is the OS of the NFS server and NFS client.
Can you post
cat /etc/exports
exportfs -v
syslog.log from both the servers.
regards
Albert
