Re: where can i find nparcmds

You need to have vPAR software loaded for that. It is licensed product.

Re: where can i find nparcmds

Hi,

Please note that nPar or hardware partitioms is available depending on the server model. What is your server model - use command model
As per my understanding nPar is available with the OS and no seperate license is required as this depends on the hardware's ability to support hardware partitions.
Please refer - http://docs.hp.com/en/PARMGR2/index.html which says that "Partition Manager is a free product that is included in the Operating Environment bundle on the HP-UX distribution media" or can be downloaded at
http://docs.hp.com/en/PARMGR2/download.html
Also refer http://docs.hp.com/en/hplex.html#nPartitions%20%28hardware-based%20partitioning%29
for more documentation.

You should find the npar commands in /usr/sbin if nPar is installed.
