Workstation Locking

I have HP-UX 10.20 running with HP-Vue WM. When the work station is locked, the default behavoir is for the display to show a gray image with a text field for the password and some text.

I have a requirement to change the image that is displayed when the workstation is locked.

Is it possible of an image or window to be displayed when the workstation is locked? Where should I look to change the image?

Thanks,

Re: Workstation Locking

Hi Ed,

you can change the entry
Dtlogin*logo*bitmapFile:

int the file Xresources under /etc/dt/config/C

Different bitmaps are normally located under /usr/dt/share/backdrops

Re: Workstation Locking

I got distracted with other tasks, but I was able to get it working. Our directory structure was slightly different, but I found the file and got it working, the customer is now happy and that is what counts.

Thanks,
Ed
