Fedorca Core 14 - Changing IP and Hostname

Building a replacement for an ancient Redhat server circa 2001 RH 7, for our DNS server.

use to be one could edit the /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 to change IP and /etc/sysconfig/network file to reflect new name.

Now I think FC14 has a new way of modified, can it be done the "old fashion way"? or does one have to go into the darned GUI system-config-network ?

any insight appreciated.

Not sure I like the new interface on the forums now :smileymad:

You could use system-config-network-tui if you do not want to have use gui interface
