Insight issue : /etc/cpqpwr whe don't show the truth?
I have Proliant, RedHat 2.1AS, and 6.30 Insight.
Now hpasm & insight seems working: if I unplug a power supply an snmp alret generated, I see it in CIM and even in cpqimlview.
But /proc/cpqpwr still show everything is normal.
[root@Quorum root]# cat /proc/cpqpwr
ID TYPE LOCATION STATUS REDUNDANT
1 Intelligent Pwr. Supply Bay Nominal Yes
2 Intelligent Pwr. Supply Bay Nominal Yes
3 Intelligent Pwr. Supply Bay Nominal Yes
Why? What is /proc/cpqpwr supposed to show?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Insight issue : /etc/cpqpwr whe don't show the truth?
I'm running AS 2.1 and the 6.40 agents.. I only have one power supply installed on a box and /proc/cpqpwr shows..
[root@vmwarehost root]# cat /proc/cpqpwr
ID TYPE LOCATION STATUS REDUNDANT
1 Standard Pwr. Supply Bay Nominal No
2 Standard Pwr. Supply Bay Failed No
U might want to go to the 6.40 agents but not 7.00. 7 has issues with ASR's and rebooting servers for no reason..
