Re: RedHat 5.2 kernel Uhhuh NMI received for unknown reason 21 on CPU 0
Shalom,
The message has been seen before on other platforms. Does not from the text of it seem very professional eh?
http://lists.us.dell.com/pipermail/linux-poweredge/2006-May/025840.html
http://lkml.indiana.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/0205.1/0962.html
Based on the variety of OS it is seen with, I tend to think there is a hardware problem.
I recommend booting into hardware diagnostics and checking the CPU.

Hi,
Look at the knowledge base. For example the advisory
http://www11.itrc.hp.com/service/cki/docDisplay.do?docLocale=en&docId=emr_na-c01670591-2
http://www11.itrc.hp.com/service/cki/docDisplay.do?docLocale=en&docId=emr_na-c01547608-17
You could update your bios.

I have seen a similar error on my IBM/LINU serves . But all i recollect is sending DSA logs to IBM to check hardware errors..
