Drivers for Proliant DL360 G3 - WinPE
I have been trying to deploy prepared images (windows 2003 server) onto this platform using a WinPE boot CD / DVD. The system boots but does not read the CD ROM once the OS has started making it impossible to capture or deploy the image. I have tried loading drivers into the WinPE boot disc but they seem to make no difference. I think this is because VISTA and Win2008 are not supported on this system, and the WinPE is the VISTA version. I would really like to be able to use this method to deply images and would welcome any suggestions of other drivers I could try (Its the additional IDE channel driver that I believe is the culprit)

Re: Drivers for Proliant DL360 G3 - WinPE
By modifying the inf file for the driver I was able to install a driver which gave access to the CDROM drive. I suspect WINPE environment was selcting the entry for a piece of hardware that was not quite this piece of hardware
