Hi,
I wish to track account for the following
1) Account login and logout times
2) Total time taken by the batch jobs in a particular account.
One option
$ accounting/report=elapsed/out=disk0:[system]test.txt
/summary=user/since=1-aug-2007
Please let me know if you have better idea or suggestion.

Solution
Nipun,
$ ACCOUNT /USER=... /TYPE=BATCH/FULL
would give you a much tighter picture of what you ask.
$ HELP ACC
should give you A LOT of screws to tune the output pretty close to your wishes.
And for later reports, also have a look at
$ HELP SET ACCOUNT
It will tell you how to add several details to the accountng data, to get your reports even closer to your wishes.
