Administrative Distance and Floating Routes

Is there a workaround or a future firmware/OS release that will support setting administrative distance on the 5300XL platform?
It'll save some problems adding fail paths for some customers that use only L3 switches and ospf (it'll save some money too, cisco is all but cheap!)

I also would like to keep more Administrative distance from my hardware. :)
