Greetings to "Nashua"

To all assembled in "the Tara":

I deeply regret NOT being with you; my cardiologists did not agree.
(Rehabilitation is progressing well, thank you).

I wish you all (and envy you for) the good time I know you are having.

Enjoy VMS, enjoy the advances it is making. Do not forget to complain on the lack of marketing.

DO remember me when having a Samual Adams (or whatever).
DO HAVE A GOOD TIME!

I sincerely hope to see you again at next year's bootcamp (wherever it may be).

Proost.

Have one on me.

Re: Greetings to "Nashua"

Jan,

many thanks for your greetings.

We are certainly missing you here. I am pleased to hear that your rehabilitation is going well.

We (collectively) have already mentioned the marketing issue!

I will be having a Sam Adams (or two) a bit later.

Regards,

Duncan

Re: Greetings to "Nashua"

Hi Jan

thanks for your greetings.

I wish you all the best, get well soon.

That point with the beer, will not be a problem. I will think of you, when I drink next Sam (if I get one and the draft at granite bar is not empty again....)

Best regards,

Geni

*waves from the breakfast room* :-)

Read Willem Grooters blog for some details of what is going on.

People are looking tired now. Late nights in the bar taking their toll :-)

@Geni:

I would have assumed they know this crowd by now!

@Ian: I read in Willem's blog that the abstracts will NOT appear online this year. Could you ask Sue for permission to get me a copy? I will probably meet Willem and/or Kris (assuming he is there also) at the next Dutch VMS SIG...

Others: Thanks for the good wishes. I miss being there!

Unfortunately, I'm NOT at the bootcamp.
I had to cancel everything last week thursday after a visit to my cardiologist.

So, we're in this together. Two grumpy old men deeply regretting that they are on this side of the Atlantic instead of over there where all the fun is ( :-( ).

Anyhow, I hope to see you at the next Dutch VMS SIG, TUD or wherever.

Hou je haaks,

Unpleasant surprise to read that!

Well, the best I can do is wishing you a recovery as favorable as mine seems to be going.

Let's make a tentative appointment for next VMS SIG (if we meet there, at least that would mean that both of us are well enough for such things again!).

Jochie, BETERSCHAP!

Re: Greetings to "Nashua"

Dear Jan,

I hope you are feeling better. We missed you! You would have loved it. There were five people 30 and under even a 16 year old, but he was very new and needs some salt.

Bedtime stories went on until 10:30. The Partners roundhouse was packed with people, you would have loved it. Even on the open night we did birds of a feather. We had one that went on for several hours. The awards dinner was Thursday night and the Ambassadors Spirit award went to Volker Halle for his support on this forum an help to so many customers world wide. We ended on Friday at noon after 262 or so sessions, 100% attendance with folks from 21 countries. Of course we went to our favorite resturant (Chinese place in Chelmsford) and I introduced folks to a new place in Hudson where we went for Korean.

You would have loved it and we missed you.

Sue
