How to monitor hub900 ?
I have some hub900 that I need to monitor in a detached process using DCL.
Currently we are using snmp dump to get alarms when things change. This is fine but I would like to get an alarm if something is missing (for drp situations) as long as it is not repaired. I'm going to check the clustertools on freeware V6.
Is someone using something else to monitor them ?

Re: How to monitor hub900 ?
Or is someone except Keith using the clustertools ? The problem is that opcom messages don't go thru to our alarm system.

Re: How to monitor hub900 ?
Still not a solution.
I found this http://carsten.familie-doh.de/mibtree/dec-hub900.html that explains all items that can be obtained via snmp.
But which ones changes when e.g. a fiber is disconnected from a concentrator port (or is broken) ?
Is there someone monitoring such san devices with something more reliable that a trap ?
