"MOPing" between DEC-servers

When I connect to a DEC90L series server (using MC NCP CONNECT or ST H/MOP) I can shift to another DEC-server using MOP command and the other server's mac-address.
Now I have a new DEC90M server, which I connect to using telnet.
My question is - what command can I use to shift to another DEC90L server on the same network?

Re: "MOPing" between DEC-servers

Hi Alon,
now I have not Dec90M on my hand but I guess is same command of Dec90L.
Remember you can connect to 90M using MC NCP connect same as 90L.

Re: "MOPing" between DEC-servers

If the servers are IP'd, then type the following:
TELNET xx.xx.xx.xx (address of server).
This should take you to the # prompt on the server you are connecting to. From there on it should be business as usual.
Yours Terry.

Re: "MOPing" between DEC-servers

Hi all.

The other servers are not IPd, and the command MOP does not work on DEC90m.

Any other ideas?

Re: "MOPing" between DEC-servers

Alon,
AFAIK you can connect to DecServer only via Decnet or via telnet.

May exists, perhaps, a solution but I guess it is no good for you. If I remember, you could create a local LAT service on every decserver and then connect to it; but this means create a service on every decserver (bleah) and then theese service are visible form all terminal emulator or server (uh security bye)
