I have an ES40 running Tru64 5.1B PK4 with a KZPCC-CE backplane RAID controller. I would like to monitor the status of the RAID sets (i.e. detect when a disk fails) from Tru64 using "hwmgr get attr -id [HWID]". Does anyone know which output fields would be most useful, e.g. state, access_state, etc.
ok, I won't tell you about swcc but you have one problem. The kzpcc handles raid drives and the os does not see any physical disks. You can look for kzpcc messages in the binary errorlog.
