volassist growto causes lsm locks timeout.

Hi

I recently ran into a problem when I tried to use volassist growto to increase a volume size from 3000m to 12000m.

This is the error I get:
# volassist -g oradgs1 growto myvolume 12001m
lsm:volassist: ERROR: creating subdisk dsk15-66:
Transaction locks timed out

It seems to be related to the VEX_TIMEOUT exit status - see volintro(8) - which happens after 60 seconds.

I managed to increase the size of the volume to the desired size, by using growto in 2000m increments.

Has anyone seen this before, or perhaps know of better way to get around this?

please post the os version and patch kit version, so we can look if that is not a bug.
