Disappointed HPE and VMWare removed access to VMWare 6.x files
We use VMWare 6 U3 on our HP C7000 blade center. I used to have access to the files we paid for from HPE VMWare support. Broardcom bought VMWare and dropped all VMWare 6.x files. HPE used to give us access to the files. They are no longer available. I have been looking for the HPE VMWare 6.0 ESXI files for BL465C blades and DL360e Gen 8 servers on other sites with no luck. Do any of the HPE engineers still have the VMWare 6.x files?

Re: Disappointed HPE and VMWare removed access to VMWare 6.x files
Hi Michael,
Could you please let us know the version and build number you're looking for?
Also, should it be a HPE Custom image or a vanilla image?
Example : VMware-ESXi-6.0.0-Update3-13635687-HPE-Gen9plus-600.10.4.5.15-Sep2019.iso

Re: Disappointed HPE and VMWare removed access to VMWare 6.x files
The BL465C Gen7 blades had enterprise licenses with HPE/VMWare. The HP DL360E has essentials kit licenses.. The HPE files were that went with them got corrupted.
i am using the VMware-VCSA-all-6.7.0-20540798.iso. This is a vCenter Appliance 6.7 Update 3s. I was looking for the vCenter Server 6.7 Update 3w file.
I used the custom, HPE builds on the HP BL465c Gen7 blades and HP DL360e Gen8 server..
VMWare ESxi 6.0.0 15517548
Last patches I put on them from VMWare Patch Tracker was:
2020-02-20
Imageprofile ESXi-6.0.0-20200204001-standard (Build 15517548) includes the following updated VIBs:

Re: Disappointed HPE and VMWare removed access to VMWare 6.x files
I know. Companies used to leave old versions still available after they were discontinued. Broadcom did a lot of stuff customers hated. They tripled their prices.
