HPE R1500 G5 & VMware ESXi 6.7 Host Shutdown not working

Hello fellows,

System Configuration:

HPE Proliant DL380 Gen10 with vSphere 6.7
HPE UPS R1500 G5
VMware vma with HPE Power Protector Linux x64 v2.00.73

I have setup a vma appliance with the supplied shutdown script from the latest HPEPP, however when i run the shutdown script the server doesn't do anything.

With an ESXi 6.5 Server it works.

Right now I shutdown the server with a remote ssh command direct to the esxi, but I prefer I can use it with the HP software.

Will a new version be released?

Hi,

Current latest version "HPEPP_2.00.073"  is not supported for vmware 6.7

There is no further update.

There was a similar issue with ESXi 5.

Hi @sudhirsingh i'm experiencing the same issue.

I have bought my new infrastructure in 2018 and i can't believe HPE doesn't support my ups to shutdown my esxi 6.7.

Can we have some news related further update?

We can send this feedback to HPE to sensibilize they on this question?
