Database counter Monitor

Hi ;

I would like to configure Db counter monitor. I have some question,

- What is the difference between Db query MOn. and Db counter Mon. ?

-On Db counter Mon. dialog box there is no place to put Db user and Db pasword unlike to Db query mon. İt has just credantial place. How it's log in to Db without db user and password.

Could someone inform me Please?
