LaserJet 2100M printing issue

LaserJet 2100M printing issue

I am using a LaserJet 2100M and I keep getting the message my printer is offline.

I'm operating with Windows 8.1 in a Lenovo ThinkPad.  I have made no changes lately but I did have this problem a few weeks ago and it just went away.  I have done an update and restart to see if that would fix things; but it didn't.  Can anyone help me print again?
