Scanner communication problems

A problem that keeps coming back is communication problems with my scanner. The print & scanner doctor does  not help. I than have to restart my X476. And this circus repeats itself every month. I have the latest driver installed. What can I do?

This is the wrong company for printers and PC products. You need to register in the HP Inc. Support Forum:
