Populating the $OEM$ installation folder
Hope someone can help.
I am trying to set up a WINPE boot automated W2K3 build from a network Share using the SmartStart Toolkit etc..
I need to populate the $OEM$ folder on my deployment share from the latest SmartStart CD.
Is there a quick and easy way to do this?
(I think the old DOS (non-Win32) SmartStart Toolkit used to have a batch file ?UNETFIL.CMD? that populated the $OEM$ folder. is there an equivalent?
Any help gratefully received. Feel free to email at -ravi.cabral@syntegra.com
Thanks,
Ravi

Re: Populating the $OEM$ installation folder
Since nobody has bothered replying, I will say that I have used my previous method to do this. Namely,
1. Initiate a SmartStart initiated install
2. When the OS installation reboots the PC after the 1st part of setup, reboot to a Windows PE CD instead.
3. In Windows PE copy the C:\$OEM$ folder that SmartStart has created to the network connected deployment server.
