RDP 3.6 FW cd update

Hi,
Can I update firmware files in lib\software\Proliant_firmware with a new FW CD 7.90 ? I know that the scexe files can be copied there, but what about the whole cd (new HPSUM etc)

Hello Jarkko,

The answer is yes, you can do that with the following steps.
1..make a backup of the Proliant_Firmware directory,
2..copy the content of the directory compaq/swpackages on the FW CD to the Proliant_Firmware directory.
3.. test it.

This is how i did it this morning.

Yes it worked, thank You. Well RDP 3.70 contains the FW CD 7.90 =)
