RDP 6.10 - Default Size of 2008 System Partition, how can you alter it?

RDP 6.10 xml files for the 2008 server scripted installation have been altered since rel. 3.84 . It was once possible to edit the unattend.xml file and manually create the C-partition at whatever size you desired. 6.10 will allow the change, but the Dagent installation step will not execute, and the PSP step will also not run as a result. If you do NOT edit the xml file, the C-drive consumes the ENTIRE physical drive. I want to limit the C-drive to a smaller size.
How can this be accomplished?

Hi. I can't answere about 6.10 but in 6.0 you right click the Distribute Disk Image task in the win win2k8 job. Click Advanced were it says Automation Pre-boot enviroment..

There you can change the size of the C-partition.

I only change the size settings im the default.xml file:

in the .\lib\osconfig\w61s.64 folder (for W2K8 Std 64bit).
this example would create a 35G Partition.

Yes, the XML partition size change works well, but then the Dagent installation at the bottom of the XML file refuses to work, once you modify the scriipt.

The "Distribute Disk Image" is a good one! I will try this.

Thanks so much for your post, I had been pulling my hair out for days trying to work out why Dagent wouldn't install if I specified the disk configuration in the unattend.xml for Windows 2008.

The simple step of using the ntfs.img file to specify disk size solved my problem - still experiencing issues trying to script install of PSP, but hey one thing at a time
