Hi all,
When using the "Remote Control" function of the Rapid Deployment Pack Client, we have a sustained ~65% CPU usage, pointing to the ACLIENT.EXE file, both in Performance Monitor and the Task Manager. Main apps are suffering due to reduced performance.
We are using Windows 2003 Enterprise running in dual 3.2GHz CPUs, BL20pG3, ACLIENT.EXE v6.1.375, Altiris Deployment Solution 6.1.
Thanks for your comments and help,
Sergio Erazo

Solution
Yes the Altiris "Remote Control" will consume a lot of CPU cycles. Connect through the iLo (which you can also do through Altiris). Make sure your iLo is version 1.75 - The remote control with this version of the firmware is GREAT!.
