rebuilding a raid set on different box

I have an old dl380G2 system that failed
it had an HP 642 raid card and 4 U320 drives attached to that card
I took the raid card and drives; put it into a Dl380 G3 and can't get the raid set to come back. So I have same drives attached to same raid card but NO JOY. No matter what i do I keep getting an error to the effect that the drives are in "wrong spot" and as such will not work. I ran the ADU and it says the same thing. Is there some other HP utility that could help straigten out this raid set?
