Adding HP StorageWorks MSA 2000 to HP ProLiant Dl380 gen 9

To whome may help,

Hi, I am trying to purchase an external SAS raid controller card to hook up the HP storagework MSA2000. I was wondering if speed will make a differences. For example: the card support 12GB speed but the SAS on the MSA 2000 only support 3 GB.. Will this be an issue? I need to know this as soon as possible.

lookup dl380gen9 quickspec for supported cards and devices.
if this will ever work, it will be sooo slow.
you need a h-series card, not a smartarray iirc.
