Adding memory best practice for a ML-350G5 QUAD CORE

Currently we have all 2GB chips in 6 of the 8 slots.  I'd like to add another 8GB, by adding 4GBx2.  As far as I can tell, as long as the speeds, and that they are added in pairs I should be OK, correct?
