Any idea what is the SmartSSD Wear Gauge Utility from Hp ? How to use it?

Any idea what is the SmartSSD Wear Gauge Utility from Hp and what does it do? I know about ADU but not about SmartSSD Wear Gauge Utility.

Well,

Wear Gauge - indicates that it gauges (measures) how worn the SSD is.

The SSD drives are vulnerable in the sense that you cannot write many many times on the same block (or however it's grouped, same bit?) - so some SSD drives have a built-in mechanism that spreads the writes around the disk.
