B110i and Seagate Barracuda ES.2
Dear HP,
I have a problem with all of my Seagate Barracuda's (ST3750330NS), the disks work fine when the sata controller is on AHCI. But when i change this to the onboard B110i all the drive leds trun red, i have checked all the disks and they are fine.
I'am not able to find a firmware/software upgrade for the controller, the server is a DL160 G6 (Running WS12r2)
Is there a solution to use the seagate drives in a RAID 10 configuration?
Thanks in advance.

Re: B110i and Seagate Barracuda ES.2
Hi,
HP Smart Array controllers can work better with HP Hard Drives, its because HP Drives have HP Firmware which works better with HP Controllers.
Non-HP Drives may not work with HP Smart Array controllers.
Thank You!

I work for HPE.
