Base system device driver missing on HP Proliant DL380 Gen9

Hi All;

I have  HP Proliant DL380 Gen9 server and recently I upgraded the processor from intel® Xeon® cpu E5-2620 v3 @ 2.4 GHz    to           intel® Xeon® cpu E5-2620 v4 @ 2.1 GHz. After that the Base system device driver  is missing found on device manager. The hardware ID is

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_6F6E&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_01
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_6F6E&SUBSYS_00000000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_6F6E&REV_01
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_6F6E
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_6F6E&CC_088000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_6F6E&CC_0880

And I also installed the driver cp029724.exe from below link but still not taken the required driver. Please help to get me the required drivers for server 2012 R2.

Hello Mukesh4

The component  cp029724.exe you have installed updates the Server Platform Services (SPS)/Management Engine (ME) Firmware only.

Since you moved from  intel® Xeon® cpu E5-2620 v3 (Haswell) to  intel® Xeon® cpu E5-2620 v4 (Broadwell) ,  DDRIO channel drivers will be different , and hence the missing driver with a yellow bang on device manager

You will need to install HPE ProLiant Gen9 Chipset Identifier for Windows Server 2012 R2 , below is the download link
