Hi

one of our server HP Proliant ML 370 G5 Rack Model restarted i found in log error that bmc ipmi watchdog timer timout for reason to restart the server.

please any one could let me know what is this error and how to stop restart the server if error occurs on next time.

The usual explanation for this error is that the ASR mechanism looses communication with the Watchdog driver and so it activates ASR after the set ASR timer (default 10 minutes) Quick fix is to disable ASR, permanent fix is to update your iLO firmware and iLO drivers.
