Cache module status Failed - P420i

I have a problem with the HP ProLiant ML350p Gen8 server, actually the Smart Array P420i controller itself. iLo reports an error Cache Module Status Failed, I saw swollen batteries / capacitors from the cache, after replacing nothing has changed. Anyone have any ideas? Maybe need to reset it somehow? Smart Array P420i firmware is 8.32

This is probably really a broken cache module.
