Since I removed the defective Cache Module from The Smart Array 6400 controller, the server will never enter standby mode. The power LED is off but the fans are still very very noisey, can someone help me with this issue. Also, the HDDs keep spinning after the server is 'off'

SolutionHello,
I hope you are doing well.
For fan noise or running high speed so many reasons.
- Bios should be updated with the latest.
- All the firmware ( ILO & Smart Array (SA) firmware, as well as hard disk firmware, should be updated with the latest.
- Use only HPE certify, Supported or tested components.
- Remove Non-HPE hardware components from the server, if you are using.
Please share the error if you are getting any error message.
