disable floppy disk on Proliant DL380 G4 running Server 2003
Hi,
I'd like to disable both the floppy disk and IDE drives on our Proliant to free up IRQs for other devices as in fact neither are connected.
I found the following reference on the Microsoft Web site
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=275180
Do I need a BIOS upgrade from HP to fix this problem because despite telling the BIOS that the floppy disk is disabled it still appears in the Device Manager on IRQ6.
Thanks,
Kevin
