DL 380 G7 with a falied disk in a RAID 5 array

Hi,

I have a Proliant Dl 380 G7 with an Smart Array p410i. I have 3 x 300GB SAS HDD. One of them is reporting failed. On the Array Configuration Utility  when I access the Logical Drive, in More information the Parity Initialzation Status filed says Initialization Failed.

What might happen if I hot swap the failed disk with a new one?

You should change it

I'll do that. But my question was because the Parity Initialzation Status says Initialization Failed. So, if I change this broken disk would the RAID be rebuild?
