DL180 fan noise
We bought a pair of DL180 in october 2015. They worked perfectly until we installed HP 560SFP+ cards in the server. After this the fans went berzerk and stay between 50-60% constantly. We contacted support and they promised that this would be solved in a upcoming SPP. Now several SPP's later we still have this problem. It looks like it is related to "sea of drivers" and a new practice of punishing users with fan noise if they use non HP hardware. If I google the problem, I only get people with similar problems and no solution. Is this the new HP "Enterprise" way? Do they want us to move to other platforms?
