DL325 Gen10 upgrade to 8 NVMe?

Hello,

I have P16696-B21 HPE Proliant DL325 Gen10 AMD EPYC 7402P 24-Core 64GB 8SFF P408i-A SAS 800W server and want to upgrade it to 8 NVMe. What parts would I need? It seems there is a 8 NVMe drive cage and/or cables and a high performance fan kit, but I can't locate part numbers for it. They don't seem to be listed in the specifications.

All HPe Servers come with a document called "quickspecs" that document contains all approved HPe Parts. If it's not listed, it's not a supported configuration. So for your question, it seems you can't just buy the NVMe cage, you have the buy the whole server with the NVMe option preconfigured.

HPE ProLiant DL325 Gen10 Server comes with differnect configurations,

8SFF Front View – 8SFF + ODD

NVMe SFF Front View – 10 SFF NVMe

4LFF Front View – with Optional ODD

Please refer HPE ProLiant DL325 Gen10 Server QuickSpecs and validate with your server configuration.

Here's the full spare parts list: https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docLocale=en_US&docId=emr_na-a00050525en_us

So I'm guessing you'd need P07019-001 and P07020-001. Not sure if you'd need anything else, as I think the NVMe drives use the same trays as the spinning disks. Not sure though as I only have spinning disks right now.
