Hello,
I would like to configure a server with the following components
P06453-B21 - DL360 GEN10 4110 1P 16G-STOCK - base server
872487-B21 - 4TB SAS 12G 7.2K LFF SC-STOCK - as backup-disc
867978-B21 - DL360 G10 SATA M.2 2280-STOCK - for enabling the system with a M.2 SSD
and a Samsung SSD 970 Pro M.2 2 TB SSD - as boot/systm disc
and debian linux as OS
Would the system run like this and boot from the ssd, or can there be problems if the ssd is not a hpe-part?
Are there warrenty-problems from HPE if I use a part of a third party - in this case Samsung?
Can there be problems when I use debian linux?
Thank you very much and greetings form austria

SolutionHPE doesn't test 3rd party component compatibility. The Samsung M.2 drive should be recognised. As far as warranty goes, the addition of 3rd party components should not void the warranty, but you may be asked to remove them while working with support to troubleshoot an issue.
Debian, like most community Linux distributions is enabled, but not tested. The MCP is available with several components in .deb format. https://downloads.linux.hpe.com/SDR/project/mcp/
